Hot Stuff!

Charlotte the Starlet has been on the go non-stop since October, beginning with her beach side vacation in Seascape, CA, followed by a quick stop in the 'hood to make appearances at BFF Caroline's second b-day bash and the Roser Park Halloween party, then back out west for her Las Vegas debut. Her Great Aunt Sheila met her at the Bellagio ready to be #1 roadie, but sadly had to resign due to ill health. Fortunately Great Aunt Ellen was standing by and took the second shift. The Starlet would like to send out special thanks to both members of the Schwinger roadie team for their love and support.

Although Charlotte loves to meet and greet, she's looking forward to spending a quiet holiday season at home in St. Pete working on her walking skills. Now that she's perfected her crawl and can easily cruise around the furniture, she is ready to get seriously mobile. Starlet loves to climb up stairs, but still requires assistance to get down (the less painful way). Her newest trick is to wriggle out of her stroller, shopping cart, high chair, etc. and stand up to get a better view. Who could blame her with all of the hot hot hot boy babes around? Not the most discreet people watcher, Charlotte likes to point her finger at whoever catches her eye. Only when the subject looks back at her does she feel slightly embarrassed, then buries her head in mom or dad's shoulder.

Charlotte can easily pull herself up and loves to explore EVERYTHING. She opens cabinets and inspects the items one by one, then throws them on the ground. Same with the freshly folded laundry, any items on the coffee table, and the contents of mom's purse. Of course it's standard baby MO to taste everything before discarding it. The only things the Starlet is not particularly interested in at this point are her toys.

Still petite, Charlotte weighed in at 17 lbs at her last Dr. appointment. Her parents try to feed her all the time, but whether it's green beans or ice cream she only takes a few bites before losing interest. She now has 4 front teeth, and one more on the way. Perhaps a few more chompers will make a better eater out of her. Other than a few minor colds and an ear infection, the Starlet has been a very healthy baby. Her secret? Lots of apple juice and a few bites of cat food.
